What is Airsoft?
Airsoft is a competitive team shooting sport in which participants eliminate opposing players with spherical plastic projectiles (BB's) launched via replica air weapons called airsoft guns. Although very similar to paintball in concept the objectives and missions tend to be more complex and require a greater degree of teamwork and tactics.
What is the minimum age?
The minimum age to participate is 12 however, some special events may have a higher minimum age.
Can I book a private event?
Yes you can! We are open 7 days a week and can cater for private parties. All we ask is there is a minimum of 10 participants. Call us direct on 01842 818629 to arrange your event.
How do I know when I have been hit?
Airsoft is a honesty based game and as such relies on the players to be truthful when they are hit. When hit you will either feel it or hear the bb bouncing off you or your equipment. If you are not 100% sure if you were hit it is good sportsmanship to call the hit anyway. Cheating is not tolerated and ignoring hits in a blatant manner will result in you being removed from the event.
I am hiring but do I need any special equipment to play?
No you don't. If you are hiring equipment everything will be provided for you. All you need is to wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty and a good pair of boots such as hiking boots are a must.
I have played a game and I am hooked! I want to buy a gun!
Great stuff! There are two ways to buy a gun in the UK.
1. If you are over 18 you can buy any airsoft gun as long as it is painted 50% a bright colour (called TWO TONE).
2. If you want to buy a realistic coloured airsoft gun there are a couple of requirements that have to be met before you can buy one.
Again you have to be over 18 and due to legislation within the UK you will have to prove you have a valid defence.
